In reading Daniels prayer in chapter 9, he says We around. 14 times. Daniel hadnt sinned against God and especially held strong to his convictions and Gods truth. But....the truth is, he knew he was a man and he knew what was in him. He didnt place himself above anyone. The sin of the people in babylon was completely disgusting, but he didnt put himself above them. I see such an amazing humility in this kind of attitude. What would happen if we didnt put ourselves above anyone else? If we didnt measure our sin against others sins? If we could actually plead and pray on behalf of others who are struggling as if we were on the same level? What if we truly realized how deep and how wide Gods love is and stopped putting Him in a box as to limit Him? I dont know just some thoughts this morning that i felt led to share. I dont know where i would be without His mercy. Have a great day everyone.
