In reading the Liberal elite criticism of American Sniper, I am continually seeing the ridiculous allegation that Chris Kyle was a psychopath for allegedly writing: killing Iraqis was fun. Actually, he wrote (American Sniper): I loved what I did. I still do. If circumstances were different – if my family didnt need me – Id be back in a heartbeat. Im not lying or exaggerating to say it was fun. I had the time of my life being a SEAL. He also wrote that the enemy was despicable/savage and he didnt regret killing that enemy (the enemy would have involved foreign fighters, as well as Iraqi Sunni or Shiite insurgents). Anyone who has served with elite units can identify with missing the comradeship and excitement of combat. Heartbreaking, but also exciting. Liberal elites seem to be going crazy with the success of American Sniper. Shocking to realize most Americans still honor the masculine, patriotic, heroic warrior type and not necessarily NFL players who come out of the closet (even though those heroes receive the Presidential phone calls for bravery!). Same way we honored Alvin York, Audie Murphy, George Patton, etc. in prior wars. It would be nice if they would just admit being wrong about America (It has not been transformed into the culture of San Francisco), and shut up with the elitist, condescending garbage aimed at middle America.
