In reading the media rhetoric surrounding todays game between Mississippi State and Alabama, I see a recurring theme that commentators are citing historical trends (among a few other things) as a primary reason that MSU will not prevail in Tuscaloosa today. Looking at history and some other things on paper, I understand their sentiment and also understand that a Bulldog victory and ensuing march to the National Championship could take a hit to the credibility of the great college football experts and do historical damage to the recruiting rankings business. If it were up to the historical trends and the commentators, the traditional powers would remain in control for the rest of time. However, in order to alter the course of history and traditional sentiment, there comes a point where one must defy the odds to achieve greatness. One must prove that heart, teamwork, and discipline can overcome many things not just in football, but in life. If such is to happen, there is no better time than the present! #Hailstate #Dakattack #Psychodefense
