In recent weeks, bus commuters in Belltown, Washington have been sharing a seat with an unusually furry companion with a cold wet nose. That cold-nosed furry companion would have been Eclipse, a good looking – and obviously smart – black lab who has figured out how to take the bus all by herself from her home to the local dog park. According to ABC News affiliate KOMO-TV in Seattle, the dog’s owner, Jeff Young, said his 2-year-old lab knew the bus route as they often take it together to get to the dog park, but one day, she just hopped on the bus by herself. ”We went all the time, then sometimes she got on the bus before me because I’m talking or distracted,” he said. “I was like ‘Oh s***, she got on the bus.’” Young, however, is always close behind on a later bus for the handful of stops to the dog park, where he rejoins her. ❣
