In recent weeks, during operation protective Edge, the Israel Police has deployed its forces in record numbers. The police officers operating in the field are vigilant and ready, despite working around the clock. Police Commissioner Danino visited a number of units in the south of Israel today and said, I see how the police officers are fulfilling their duty diligently and professionally, especially here in the south. The police officers do excellent work all year round, and in recent days the public has seen how equipped our officers are. When I look at the men and women of our police force, I am filled with pride. The police officers told the commissioner about the support they are receiving from all sectors of the public, which provides them with motivation and enthusiasm to continue their work.
