In reference to last nights THURSDAY NIGHT MYSTERY: the second - TopicsExpress

In reference to last nights THURSDAY NIGHT MYSTERY: the second house offered up is at 1630 Rockland, though you will probably never see it from there as its up a very long lane and sits up by the water tower. I first saw the house in the early 1980s, when I noticed it while walking up Terrace Avenue. Intrigued by the apparently abandoned house, I tracked down the owner, Brigadier Oliver, who was living in a home for the elderly nearby. The house was designed by Rattenbury of whom we are all aware, and is now owned by the daughter of the gentleman who owned it when I first saw it. It has been restored and Designated Heritage. The home has had two names: Rockcliffe and Edgehill, and is clearly visible in old photos of Rockland. Heres a better photo. And thank you to all who played the game!
