In regards to Kevins recent article titled: Americans Satisfaction with Job Security at New High, there is another part of this equation that needs to be addressed. And of course, Kevin is well aware of this too. During the 1990s I published three (3) articles titled: Middle-age workers being left out of U.S. work force, For better or for worse, boomers return to the nest, and The road to economic recovery is filled with potholes for many Connecticut residents. Americans Satisfaction With Job Security at New High gallup/.../americans-satisfaction-job... We all know about the recession our country was coming out of during George W.s first term in office until 9/11 hit, and the economy went into a free fall. We are also aware of the worst recession since The Great Depression during a Republican Administration that was contributed to due to their Laissez-faire attitude and policies towards Wall Street, the Big Banks too big to fail, and U.S. Corporations. My point is that although the economy is steadily improving under a Democratic Administration, (that inherited a colossal mess from a Republican Administration, including two unnecessary wars) nevertheless, millions of recent college graduates and Middle-age Workers who are 50 plus years-old are finding it almost impossible to secure meaningful full time employment that will pay a livable wage.
