In regards to my last post: Many of us use airsoft as an outlet. Many of us use it to pass the time during the weekends in place of boredom. Many of us have made more friends in BBwarz than we ever did in school. Now heres the thing. There are a very select few players who thrive on BBwarz because it is their escape from harsh reality. It is their way of coping with life problems in general. The idea of going to a field is to be free from discrimination because everyone there stands on a common ground. Often times many people have let the FB groups here dictate how a player conducts themselves in real life and at their respective fields. None of us are in a position to deprive another person of their hobby no matter how outrageous their actions/ claims may be. Like a fire with no fuel, it WILL burn itself out if you pay no mind to it. Yes, I am the last person who should be saying this. Trust me when I tell you that I am dealing with the consequences. Once you go after the family members of said person, it is no longer about BBWarz. It turns into harassment and that is nothing but a gateway of trouble. At that point you have forgotten your original purpose. To have fun. The internet has a funny way of corrupting people because everyone is entitled to free speech with very little repercussions unless it is a threat. Lets keep that in mind. I say this because: 1) the idea of me being a messiah is intended as a joke/roleplay. 2) I have no intention of ruining lives. 3) I do not legitimately hate anyone in the airsoft community despite what you have been led to believe. 4) My reputation for advocating black comedy has far preceded me to the point that even my local reputation in the mainstream community has been swallowed up by my activity on FB. TL;DR lets keep the harassment at a minimum. There are enough people who have issues in their personal lives that their only means of escape does not need to be ruined as well.
