In researching a thought, I discovered that the PPACA was supposed to cover 94% of the 31 million Americans without health insurance. (see article below) Thats 31 million Americans BEFORE the 5 million+ who had coverage they liked, but lost. Thats BEFORE businesses necessarily cut hours to cut costs, but moves employees from insured to uninsured. Thats BEFORE businesses cut available jobs because they could no longer afford to employee so many people. Now, Id estimate between the State and Federal exchanges, weve had about 700,000 people sign up. So, 700,000 sign up out of the expected 31 million that are forced to sign up... having actually increased the number of uninsured by another 10 million. So the next time you have a Democrat accuse Republicans of not wanting the poor to be insured, remind them that the PPACA has actually created MORE uninsured than it has created insured (by at least 10,000%).
