In response to a pic my cousin posted about the lack of support for breast cancer patients. (I think it was deleted as I was commenting.) My mom didnt get any assistance. She survived triple negative ductal carcanoma. She got no help from anyone. She fought her cancer while having a gram negayive bacterial infection in her blood stream and pneumonia undiagnosed until after her chemo which almost killed her. She requested help with bills, medical expenses, and SHORT TERM DISABLITY. All was denied. No one helped her with her needs or assisted her in getting help. And when we tried doing benefits we hit brick walls. I support the cause but it makes no sense that so many cancer foundations arent helping or advocating for these fighters.
