In response to a question a member question about why go to the Master Distributor level now if none of your referrals are planning on it, I wrote this and thought it might be helpful to share here: Great question...and heres three reasons why its a smart move, even if you dont have any directs doing it right now: 1. Think about the title--Master Distributor. Thats your clue that this is more about the comp plan and building a business than about the added products. But having said that, the app tool is really cool, and will give someone who wants to market it to local businesses a great way to build a steady income even without recruiting. 2. As an MD, you can (and likely will be) the recipient of many thousands of dollars that pass up through the system from countless levels below you since you would be the first qualified distributor to be paid when a member below you goes to MD (assuming no one else between you two is an MD. In other words, you need to look beyond your directs to make the determination of where those commissions might come from, and since you cant really see below a level or down, youll never know until the $1000 whizzes right by you to your upline or above. 3. Possibly the biggest reason--and I think one that many have missed--is that youll need to be an MD yourself, AND have 3 direct MDs (not pass-up commissions) in order to unlock the income from those huge Infinity Downlines weve all been seeing. This is not to be confused with the 3 X 9 Forced Matrix...you dont need to be an MD, nor have any MDs to benefit from the Matrix. So, even if you dont have 3 directs today, your goal should be to have them sooner versus later and if thats your goal, why miss any commissions from pass-ups as discussed above while youre still prospecting for your 3 direct MDs? If it was $1000 per MONTH, it MIGHT make sense to wait, but if youre heading there anyway, going to MD right NOW is clearly the best choice. Make sense?
