In response to a question posted by Mr, Larry Sesser: I dont know if PROJECT BLUE LIGHT is a National campaign, but Ive found many references to local communities across the U,S, taking part. Law enforcement officials say it’s a beacon of hope. Many local police agencies are part of Project Blue Light, as police encourage residents to use blue light bulbs on their front porches. The campaign begins today, Jan, 1st and runs the entire week, ending on Jan, 7th. This is a great opportunity for us to band together and remind the community that we’re there to support our local law enforcement! The hope that when passersby see the lights on porches, they’ll remember the sacrifices police have made, some of which have involved their lives.
