In response to a series of tragedies on our neighborhood streets and a general need for upgraded infrastructure, Councilwoman Rudiak and a coalition of neighborhood groups, cycling and pedestrian advocates, and residents of the 4th Council District will gather for a press conference in front of the Carrick Regency High Rise senior residence on Brownsville Road in Carrick tomorrow. Councilwoman Rudiak will call on the next mayoral administration to address traffic violence head-on and to protect all residents, whether they are driving, cycling, or walking our streets. The press conference will also highlight the work that South Pittsburgh residents and organizations are doing to encourage local engagement with these issues.
