In response to several calls that we didnt get our copies of Two-Lane Livin, I feel I need to share/explain our distribution policies. Two-Lane Livin has a 99% readership rate. That means that out of 16,000 copies we circulate monthly - 99% are picked up and read. This is an AMAZING thing for a print publication (most carry a 65-80% readership rate), and we WORK VERY HARD to keep this readership rate. We have several policies in place to maintain our readership level. Among these are: 1. If a distribution location begins placing TLLs in a tucked away place where people cant find or see them, we drop that location. 2. If a distribution location circulates copies, but has consistent leftovers, we lower the number left there, and shift that leftover number to another location where they WILL get picked up. 3. If a distribution location consistently drops below circulating 25 copies every month, they are dropped from the distribution list. It costs time and gas for every stop we make (over 500 locations). We cannot afford to stop at locations that dont get rid of at LEAST 25 copies a month. So, if you cannot find your TLL at your normal source, or your store or business has not received copies in the last round of distribution, it is very possible that your distribution location has not met the guidelines of our distribution policies. I realize this may cause some inconvenience for those of you who enjoy our FREE publication. However, keep in mind that even though the magazine is free for readers, we still have to operate as a business. If you are having trouble finding your monthly free copies at locations in your area, we suggest that you purchase a subscription. Thanks for understanding.
