In response to the announcement below, Greg Knoll, CEO of the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and Vice-Chair of the SDHCC Board of Directors, had this to say. “ We are very grateful for this opportunity to partner with Covered CA in California’s implementation of the ACA. The Legal Aid Society of San Diego is proud to have been chosen as the lead coordinator for this state wide effort of the Health Consumer Alliance, while at the same time we will be increasing our resources to be able to assist all San Diegans who may need help in accessing the Covered CA insurance products and subsidies that become available in October for coverage in January of 2014 .
