In roughly 72 hours, I will be walking in Philadelphia with my team, Team Solos for the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk. We will be walking to encourage individuals considering suicide as a option to reach out and speak to someone for help. We walk in memory of loved ones that took their own lives for whatever the reason. We walk to end the stigma associated with acknowledging having considered suicide. It takes a lot of courage to share intimate and sensitive information. There is no judgment at the Overnight Walk because we each in our own way understand.
