In short, The Muckrakers is seeking a second/lead guitarist to create a full sound. Id like for this person to be more skilled than myself(which isnt saying much), have a love for phrasing over mind numbing shredding(preferably), and be able to have a sense of composition. Add that flavor that really pushes a song, and doesnt make us sound like a backtrack. Gotta do what the songs call for. Anyway, if you are: Interested. Have a form of transportation and a job(to support the lifestyle). Be at least 19 years old, Can deal with constructive criticism. If youre generally free and can find a way to make it to all of the scheduled shows, which tend to be on weekends, and band practices which tend to fluctuate to work for peoples changing schedules. We practice in Hicksville and tend to play shows on Long Island and in the city. You plan on committing and not dicking around. Do please contact me, and perhaps we can work something out. For those of you who dont know what we are, we play a variety of sounds within the genre of Punk, but its all over the place, in a good way. Anyway, yeah, thats that: Serious inquires only.
