In society, the extension of ignorance into younger generations is by primary means of the previous generations and while perpetuated within a peer group by peers, the onus of inheritance of said previous generations is not to be dismissed or ignored. When we talk about these young folks we should not only claim them when they are successful individuals and powerful thinkers. We must accept them all and understand and appreciate the many that we have helped to educate into greatness as well as the many who we have failed with our own apathy, laziness, inactivity and those we have ill informed, disregarded and threw away the moment it became less than easy to work with them. None of our young people or old were created in a vacuum of themselves. In fact, many of us who speak ill of them not pulling their pants up fail to talk about their own sagging ways of not supporting Black economics, which is gravely more detrimental. Many of us who speak ill of the our young folks talk fail to mention their own inablitiy to communicate. Many of us who speak ill of young folks, claiming they have no real culture fail to discuss how they have so few times, taken a child to a museum, an opera, a Juneteenth celebration, a Black History discussion or lecture. etc.. Many of us who talk about how young folks dont love themselves fail to mention that hey havent helped to create consistent programming that focuses on self awareness that youth can relate to, So the next time you go to discuss the problems in the community of Black youth abnd young folks, please do not disregard the dysfunction currently realized and culuturally implemented by your own generation and please, even on a constructive level do not speak of the dysfunction in the Black Youth Population unless you are willing to communicate, pull up the Black economy from well below the waistline of our entire body, help embed the hisotry of us and our culutures and commit to these things consistently and please do not act like only the parents in a childs household have the responsibility to these young people because that within itself is part of the disconnect and laziness that got us here in the first place.
