In solidarity with the persecuted Christians everywhere especially in Syria am changing my profile pic joining other concerned Christians who cant bear to watch the insane hideous massacre of innocent followers of our Lord. Catholic scholars had called attention to the inherent repressive streak of Islam and not only due to its mullahs but the doctrine, the Koran and the practice itself. Mass media is indifferent to religious issues except when they can ignite cotroversies about them and much less cover persecutions of Cristians. But Muslims plight in other places are sympathetically reported. The restorationist agenda of Islam with vision of the old Ottoman Empire dominating the world is a real fhreat given the growing number of Muslims which has already overtaken Catholics. With Islamization of Europe and quiet conversions in the US that threat is not the imagination of third rate paperback novelists. As Kissinger said schizophrenics have real enemies. Wake up. This is a clash of civilizations too not only religion. As a writer in Crisis Magazine opined(online) a case of being supplanted by new genes is acceptable but an alien civilization? There must be limit to tolerance.
