In some cultures and Im truly sorry to say this, but mostly in Muslim countries women are thought of as second class citizens and as disposable properties to used and discarded as it pleases men! Until men are willing to treat women as human beings with dignity, until we teach our sons to love and or respect girls as we do for our mothers and sisters only then can we truly begin to find solutions to this heinous and terribly offensive acts by men. Imagine your sister being harassed daily by men, imagine your mother being bullied because she is a woman, imagine your girlfriends being rapped just because they happened to be girls and then think of others being rapped and killed and discarded because in the mind of some men thats all women are good for. Forgetting a mere simple fact that, if not for these women there will be no man. no you, no me or others. So, you can sit on the fence if you want to or you can turn your face to others because she is not your relative but I assure you one day soon it will affect someone you love and care for then what would you do hmmm?
