In southern Minnesota it is wet! This corn was planted on May 16. The bare areas are where it is too wet for the corn to germinate and grow. The green strips in the second picture are above tile lines. In the first picture you can see water seeping out of the side hill in an area where there is obviously no tile line. We have GIS files showing the locations of the tile lines and they correspond perfectly with what we see in the field.
