In speaking with my father today, I did not realize how far he has come after knee replacement, serious neck surgery, chronic back pain, managing low grade diabetes and cracking his skull in 4 different locations trying to save our dog (all within a 2 year period). He once weighed 308 about a year and half ago, drank more then he should to ease the pain, ate unhealthy and was pretty depressed. Although he still has back pains and always will and is getting over pretty bad infection in foot...he has managed to get his weight down to 243!!! His triglycerides are much better, cholesterol is where it should be and after visiting with doctor last week his blood pressure was excellent. I couldnt be more proud of him and he has shown me he is the strongest person I know. He set his mind on changing his ways and has done an unreal job! Love you dad and Im glad you decided to make a change. Ready to see his results after completing 24 Day Challenge with my mother who has also lost a substantial amount of weight over the last year. Love you mom!! They are a team and hold each other accountable! Proud son right here!!!
