In spite of corruption, misgovernance people win elections by large margins. It shows that either these issues has no relevance for the people or people want these issues to stay. The later argument is synonym to a conclusion that each one is a beneficiary of corruption and violation of rules. Now if this is true a democracy has no hope; as the majority who wish corruption (moral and tangible) and lawlessness to stay will always be at the helm.
