In summing up Judge Helen Windelmann talked about school yard bullying ... She said we must learn that consequences can arise from a single hit which could lead to serious injuries, even death. Stephen Dudley sustained more than just a single hit the attack on Stephen continued even when he was on the ground, unconscious. As far as I can see, no consequences have arisen for these THUGS beating Stephen who was so obviously unable to either protect or defend himself. I truly feel for the family and friends of Stephen who have been served an absolute injustice. There are, as there should be harsh punishments for mistreatment of animals yet these GOONS get off without a smack on the hand. “A conviction would affect the offender’s chances of becoming a PE teacher”. I know I would not want him teaching let alone anywhere near my children or grandchildren. What chance has Stephen now of ever becoming anything he might have dreamed of becoming? All he will be remember for now is being that poor boy who got the bash and died because his heart was not strong enough to overcome the absolute terror and trauma he must have experienced from the beating he received. Shame on you Helen Windelmann.
