In talking with other National Certified Recruiters and my own experiences in the last few days, I would like to let my friends know WHO can be eligible for the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. If you fit the below criteria and are interested let me know. We have come a long way over time from being a smoky bar of old men sitting around telling war stories to family organization that has many different programs to support our military, veterans, community and families. We have Cancer aid and Research program where 100% of the funds raised goes to supporting research in local hospitals and to grants for members that are diagnosed with cancer. We also have an orphanage called the VFW National Home for Children in Eaton Rapids MI that takes care of eligible residents from birth through college using membership money and donations. ELIGIBILITY is Wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, granddaughters of a person (male or female) that received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay. The person with who you have eligibility does NOT have to be a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Please ask me how you can join. You do not have to join a local auxiliary. If you have a desire to support with your membership and donations the above programs let me tell you how!
