In tender memory of Eve, a beautiful Shepherd who started out her life under such different circumstances with a different owner; she was set to be euthanized before she even reached 18 months old, because she did not do well with other dogs or kids. Yet she was such a sweet and loving girl that her true mom found her and recognized what a treasure she was. Although Eve was discerning about most other dogs, and sometimes didn’t mind telling them how she felt, she also was fortunate enough to find a furry brother, Cody, whom she adored. Eve was quite a beautiful girl, and although her family helped her reach the age of 14 years old, she always looked like she was only about 5. Eve initially had a tail that curled up over her back, and one of her favorite games was to chase it. Poor Eve eventually did catch her tail, and the result was a broken (and almost amputated) tail that no longer curled over her back, but still looked great. When Eve began to have trouble moving around and could no longer be left alone safely, her mom and dad knew it was best to help her say goodbye. She loved to snuggle cozily on her bed, and she never even had to get up from this spot as she became comfortable and sleepy, with her mom and dad right by her side. Rest in peace, sweet Eve.
