In terms of improving athletic performance and in achieving significant body transformation, getting (ridiculously) strong by way of fundamental & foundational compound movements will yield greater (& faster) results than what may appear to be more advanced or flashier exercises (that should/could still be used in a supplemental & supportive fashion). Choose Deadlifts over Single Leg Deadlifts. Choose Squats over Pistol Squats. Choose Pushups &/or Bench Press over Medicine Ball Chest Passes. Simplicity (mixed with challenge and consistency) will win in the long run...and so will you.
