In the 1970s family vacations included the Flanigan, the Karpack and the Fox families. We traveled all over camping and growing up together. Bobby is in every one my memories of my childhood - TipTam Campground, Magic Valley, Bushkill falls, and so many more.. .then there were the deep sea fishing trips. When his dad passed, my dad always took time to spend with Bobby. Years have a way of slipping by but there came a day when my father was in trouble and in the Cleveland Clinic and unable to make it home by plane or car - he needed a transport. The team at company 1 came to the aid of their own - but it was my dads face when he saw Bobby walk into his room that brought a grown man to tears - tears of thankfulness and joy... Bobby shook dads hand gave that smile that could melt anything and my dad KNEW he would get home safe. Bobby that is a gift I could simply never repay. but it does not end there. When my dad left this earth it was Bobby who wanted to stand guard and honor him. I think my mom said it best and oddly just 2 weeks ago (if you know Bobby you will appreciate it) - yeah sometimes Bobby can be a handful - but I love him ya just gotta love him. Today Bobby we honor you and are sad beyond words that you left us. Our hearts go out to your mother, brothers, nephews and your firehouse family who will forever miss you... ya see Bobby you took a piece of our hearts when you left - now we all must learn to live without it.
