In the 2014 budget,,there is a proposal to buy computers at $12,000 per unit(I dont know if the computer can calculate when next Jesus is coming). Just when we think it is enough,the Sokoto State government has earmarked N140m per borehole and plans to sink 40 of them(I no know weda na Jesus blood Cognac go dey rush for the thing). A few years ago,I shared,on my wall,the story of a government agency that spent N1.5m on Facebook. Years before,a staff of the NFF lost $150k in his custody as he left the cash in the office and went to the cybercafe,forgetting to lock the door . He couldnt find the money when he came back. Soon,people will tell you they are making budget proposals for air. My problem is not that they lie,they should,at least,make the lies a bit convincing. They worse part is that,we have people,mostly youths,who would justify these brazen acts.
