In the 2014 second round of presidential elections Radio Victoria is informing on the opening of voting centers throughout Cabañas. There have been some incidents, specifically in Ilobasco. Around 12 fiscales or legal goverment representatives wanted to vote there which is a violation of the electoral code because only one fiscal in each center can vote there and in the Ilobasco center 12 tried to vote. The FMLN deputy opposed this attempt declaring it was an electoral code violation and one of the fiscals as a repraisal, put out an order to capture the deputy. Right now there is a meeting going on about this behind closed doors. In Victoria permission to vote was denied to 3 undercover policemen who presented all the required documentation that has been established by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.
