The Prophet PBUH made several concessions for the sake of peace on that day..... Concessions that upset the Muslims with Him PBUH.... These Muslims had been ostracized, imprisoned, tortured, sanctioned, starved, and waged war upon by the Quraish... The Prophet PBUH insisted that what they perceived as defeat, was indeed a victory.... And the following Surah was Revealed By Allah SWT.... Muslims conquered Mecca the following year... The point of this long post is to draw comparison to WHAT is happening in #Homs today.... IF a truce DOES happen, it does NOT signal defeat.
