In the Anantnag-Pulwama Lok Sabha seat, despite boycott of elections in PDP dominated areas, the party candidate, Mehbooba Mufti is set to wrest the seat from sitting MP, Dr. Mehboob Beigh of National Conference. Mehbooba is all set to get the benefit of good polling in the assembly segments like Pahalgam, Shangus, Bijbehara and Devsar. She is also likely to get benefit of cross voting in assembly segments like Dooru and Kokernag.
