In the Autumn Parkinsons mag, on pg 22, under the heading Ask The Help Line, someone has asked Can people with Parkinsons who have had DBS be cremated when they pass away? Reply : Although people whove had DBS can be cremated , the neurostimulator must be removed before cremation as it may explode. This got me thinking... The second you pass away, where ever or however that may be , I.e sitting on sofa, the nuerotransmiter is obviously still switched on at that point. So....although you are now dead, would your body still move with the electrical impulses like something from the thriller video?
