Meyer, a prominent Bible teacher, writes: Read the Bible, not like a newspaper but as a love letter. If an appetizing and heavenly fruits in front of you, gather them. If you find a promise which is like a blank check, put it in the bank. If youre faced with a prayer, send it to heaven like an arrow coming out of the depths of your heart.
