In the Book "Redesigning Worship" in a discussion of building a team they say, "As the team leader, you have the job of creating an atmosphere of permission and possibility within which your team can work." I think that this is the job of the sr. pastor of a church as well. Ephesians 4:11-12 "Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ."
