We demand compensation for billions of dollars, to be exact trillion of losses caused to Ukraine by Russia,” – the correspondent of LigaBusinessInform quoted Yatsenyuk. According to Yatsenyuk, in the International Court of Justice Ukraine wants to make Russia accountable for violating the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism. “The Russian Federation is funding terrorism in Ukraine, the Russian Federation supports terrorists in Ukraine and the Russian Federation violates the Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism,” – he said. Yatsenyuk said that Ukraine has done everything to achieve peace – the agreement was signed in Minsk, a number of complex laws have been adopted, an unilateral ceasefire has been annouced. “The Russian Federation has not made a single step to de-escalate the conflict, Russia does not want peace. If Putin wanted peace, the Minsk protocol would be not on paper, but in action. Russia is obliged to do what they signed and promised worldwide. Minsk protocol and its 12 paragraphs is a plan that can still bring peace to Ukraine and stop the Russian military aggression, “- said Yatsenyuk.
