In the Kharkiv region, Security Service of Ukraine has revealed and stopped the subversive activities of extremist groups, which for an escalation of the situation in the region was preparing a sabotage campaign during the holidays. It is reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine. In particular, members of the Group had planned to perpetrate a May 9 explosion during mass events on the occasion of the victory day. on April 30 this year in Kharkov, in the framework of criminal proceedings under § 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acts aimed at violent change or overthrow the constitutional order or the seizure of State power) Security Service detained the leader of the pro-Russian public Association “Great RUSS” Y. Apuhin. SBU had searched the premises of the regional branch of the organization. In it’s Office a grenade F-1, pistol Zorakì, modified to fire real cartridges, ammunition, cash, Russian symbolism and postcards of the separatist nature were discovered and removed.
