In the Lonely Park - TopicsExpress

In the Lonely Park in the middle of the night I asked myself why I still sat here alone / All had left the last couple too, only the night in cold did moan / Do you recall the day Oleander, today when we are old/ That evening we two sat here on a wooden bench in dusky gold/ Does your heart still throb in excitement in love full to brim/ Do your eyes still visualise my face in a ceremonious dream?/ The park is lonely with the fading street light calm and serene/ You wont come again Oleander to the lonely bench leafy green!/ The park stood in endless emptiness to locate shapes of pain / As a poet I only sold dreams ,as a lover I patiently wait for the rain./ Time was dying in the lonely park and me along with Time/ Oleander wont return and my nocturnal frenzy lost its rhyme.
