In the Mood for Love (2000) Probably one of the best Chinese movies I have seen. This film portrays a very common subject infidelity in a complex yet simple way. Set in the 60s in Hong Kong, the story revolves around two characters who grows close to each other after finding out their respective spouses have been seeing each other. This basic plotline soon extends into a plethora of feelings, compassion which is brilliantly portrayed in the film. Verdict: Highly recommended.
