In the NCAA Reggie Bush was accused of receiving improper benefits - TopicsExpress

In the NCAA Reggie Bush was accused of receiving improper benefits the penalty for USC was a two year postseason ban and the vacating of wins from the 2004-2005 championship season. Reggie Bush receiving improper benefits did not help USC on the field, they did not win because of it. They were penalized because it is considered cheating in the NCAA. Major League Baseball banned Pete Rose from their league permanently for betting on baseball. There was no evidence that any of his bets ever effected a game he coached, yet he got banned and isnt even allowed in the HOF where he belongs. The NFL is just a disgrace to sports and competition. They obviously condone cheating, the penalties are weak and when one team gets caught other teams defend them. The Patriots have now been caught cheating twice during their best run as a franchise. Both incidents effected the gameplay directly. Their punishment for cheating the first time was a loss of a draft pick and a small fine, the penalties for their newest low will be the same. Its obvious to me that the NFL is ok with cheating. After spygate other teams and players came out and said that everybody was doing it at the time and now were hearing about how Aaron Rodgers inflates the game balls he uses and Im sure there will be more stories to follow. The head coach for the New Orleans Saints Sean Payton was suspended a year for allowing players to receive bounties for injuring players. The Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was suspended indefinitely only to be allowed back in and is still coaching in the NFL today. Again after the bounty scandal hit the news feed other teams, players, and coaches said that this was not an isolated incident, that it happened around the league and has been for some time. If the NFL truly cares about the integrity of the sport they will finally address this issue of cheating properly. Cheating is an offense that should have the penalty of a permanent ban without the possibility of coming back. If you truly dont want cheating in your league this is the first step, get the known cheaters out of the league. But its obvious that cheating is condoned in the NFL. The way the NFL handles their league makes it obvious the league is fixed. They have no integrity and they prove this on a daily basis. People always say to me if the NFL is a fixed league then how come no one ever comes out and says it? How can they get away with it? Well the answers to those questions are first off people have talked, some ex players, ex coaches, and ex officials have been documented saying its a fixed league and even some of them have gone into detail about how its done. Secondly they get away with it because the main stream media has a lot to lose if this became common knowledge so they cover it up any way they can. When the NFL continuously proves to us that lying and cheating is an acceptable way to run the NFL then they have lost any and all of their integrity and I refuse to believe that people without integrity are doing anything legit.
