If I had the chance to tell Obama to read a book, I have not one but TWO contenders that Ive read recently. Nation, by Terry Pratchett, would be one of them. It is a wonderful story about what makes a group a nation. The other would be The Good Son, by Michael Gruber. A stinging commentary on our modern political snarl, with a great human drama, which still manages to be upbeat... somehow....
