In the Name of God: The Infinitely Merciful and Compassionate Beloved Lord Beautiful Beloved Lord My God: The month of Ramadan is coming to a close, and I cannot hide anything from You: Yes, I feel a lot of happiness. I am happy that I can eat and drink again during the day, and Im happy that my routine will come back to normal. The fast is always difficult for me, but I fast nonetheless because You asked me to do so. And so, Beloved Lord, please accept all that I tried to do in Your Name. I tried, my Lord, as best I could to be faithful to the letter and spirit of the Fast. I tried to be better in word and deed. I tried, my Lord, to do all that You asked. And so, Beloved Lord, please accept all that I tried to do in Your Name. I know I could have been better this year, my Lord. There is always more that I can do. I know I could have done more to please you, my Lord. And so, Beloved, please accept all that I tried to do in Your Name. Thank You, Beloved, for all Your Grace; for all Your Love and Your Beautiful Face. Thank You, Beloved, for all that You have done for me. And please, Beloved, accept all that I tried to do for You. And finally, Beloved, please bring peace to the Holy Land. Bring peace to that sacred, holy place. Bring peace to the land where the Prophets tread, and where too many people now do weep. Bring peace to all places where Your children cry. Bring peace to all places where the innocent die. Bring justice to all the criminals who blaspheme in Your Name and make the helpless child wail and cry. Bring justice to the wicked who maim and kill. Bring justice to all who look upon death with glee. Bring justice to all who oppress at will and harm all so willfully. You are in charge of all that occurs in the Heavens and on this darkened Earth. Your Wisdom prevails at all times and all places. So, my Lord, please ease the suffering of those who cry and bring light to their darkened faces. Hallowed be Thy Name in all the Heavens and the Earth, and the Light of Your Countenance does illuminate all. Please, Beloved, accept this servant into Your fold, for without You, into darkness and death I would surely fall. In Your Most Holy Name thus do I pray. Amen
