In the USA, I am told, half of the population do not know that there exists a country called India out side their own country.The leading newspapers show the priorities of the newspaper readers that the paper caters to. Peoples priority in the USA is sports, China and Muslims. They are scared of impending insecurity. It will not be incorrect to say that the social service sector is manned by the Asians who have migrated in recent past, including the Indians. An average NRI is more spiritually alert than any other citizen in the USA. It is due to the DNA of each individual developed by the culture of ones ancestors. The thirteen colonies in America comprised people who had gone there from Europe to settle in the New Land in the wake of the Industrial Revolution. They were basically, traders. Since then their succeeding generations over centuries have not developed much. They continue as traders. They are worried about the outside world only from the angle of insecurity to them. One is China and the other is Muslims. That is all.
