In the Words of Paul Chirchir Tarimbo: Kikuyus would always remain Kikuyus: For those who have been studying the politics of this country for a while you would really know that the Kikuyu community have really perfected the art of betrayal. Theirs is a clear point of use(read misuse) and quickly dump. For all those who remember in 2002 Kibaki had almost zero chances of getting to State House until the moment when Raila declared Kibaki Tosha.Raila according to the MoU they had signed had been promised to become prime minister. The story after 2002 kibaki win tells a different story from what was in the MOU.In 2005 Raila was kicked out of government. In Central province Raila a man who was once respected in that region became more feared than ebola to the extent that he was kicked out and denied a chance to buy a meal at Sagana Lodge. Whatsoever happened to Raila thereafter has been captured in documentaries and history books for you to read. But the underlying word in all these political episodes and drama is CENTRAL BETRAYAL. Fast moving into 2013 when the time for a man from central province to leave state house, the kikuyu community quickly found a replacement;Uhuru Kenyatta. It was now Rutos turn to enter into an MoU with Uhuru and Central Kenya by extension. The Hague cases was a key factor that had brought the two together. The turn of events that have been witnessed in the past two years still show that CENTRAL BETRAYAL is not dying any sooner. Many Kalenjins have been sacked from government despite a Kalenjin son occupying the second most powerful office in this republic. Before I proceed I wish to congratulate Uhuru for having his case terminated at the Hague. I however fear that our sons may never have a chance of saying,I am so excited that the ICC case against me has been terminated. There are a lot of double standards being downplayed. Time and again Mutea Iringo(Defence PS) and Nancy Gitau(Political advisor at State House) have been time and again been accused of having fixed Ruto at the Hague.Nothing has been done to them so far.A few months ago it emerged that Nyeri Women Rep Priscilla Nyokabi was part of those who fixed Uhuru at the Hague. Today as we speak plans are at advance stages of kicking out the women rep who has been branded Nyoka-b out of TNA and consequently out of parliament. The people of Nyeri might have to go through a costly by-election in the name of punishing Nyokabi. To end this betrayal I am sure Kenyans would be ready to unite along the lines of 41 versus 1 and kick out central presidency. I am therefore asking our brother Raila Odinga to support William Samoei Ruto for president come 2017 and we liberate this country from the politics of betrayal and match into politics of unity and maendeleo. Blessed Sunday!
