In the aftermath of the Navy yard killings, a Republican congressman has come up with the novel idea that a job application process can determine the mental illness of an individual, and it is the responsibility of the human resource to notify the proper authorities to prevent the person from being hired. Mental illness was kicked onto the streets by Republicans closing the needed medical institutions to control those with mental illness. Those who are mentally ill end up in prison only after committing a crime. Even there they receive no help for their illness. So much for preventive measures. The Republicans want even more cuts to medical health coverage. Every American should have the health care coverage that those who occupy congress receive, and all would be well. P3
