In the afternoon session, 25 girls from high school was taught the basics of computer programming structures. Before starting the session, none of them are interested to pursue their career in computer science. But at the end of the session, they were inspired! The timing allocated was one hour, which got extended to three hours due to the willingness of the students to learn beyond the basics. They were introduced to Code.org, practical programming and the execution output, Microsoft Project Siena app development without coding, and Windows Phone app development integrating camera and how to use Camera API programmatically. Im happy that they got exposed to whats programming and the exciting things it can do. #YouthSpark #WeSpeakCode
