In the almost three years of the existence of this group I have carefully avoided any posts that critize the way we worship and preach in our churches today, but when I saw this post that Ginger Smith share I felt like I HAVE to share. I dont know who this lady is, but she sure has it right. This reminded me of the days when our preachers werent afraid to call sin just what it is. Most of you wont remember pioneer ministers like J.L. Goins; R.P. Johnson; Frank Lemons; Ray H. Hughes; D.C. Boatwright; Jake Roberts; James L. Slay; A. W. Brummett and many others of their generation...........who I used to think were narrow minded, but now realize were preaching and teaching what our world needs today. Yes, there ARE some who preach the truth, but sadly most of them preach the comfort gospel.
