In the category of things that suck- Mickey had to work today, on Buddys birthday. No worries though, because we were going to take him to Adventure Landing to celebrate tomorrow. Except there was a call out and now Mickey got mandatory overtime tomorrow. Normally, I dont complain about his hours. He loves his job. I love that he loves his job. But DAMN. We both miss out on things because neither of us have bankers hours in a world that caters to 9-5 people. And we work pretty friggin hard at what we do. So I AM a little pissed off. No, a LOT pissed off. My kid doesnt ask for much. Dont worry though, we will make sure he gets some daddy time. End Rant.
