In the check in line today at the airport I saw a mom feeding her baby with a bottle, and was reminded of a mom at Disneyland yesterday. She was holding her baby and feeding him a bottle while in the other hand she held a battery-operated fan that she was moving up and down his body to cool him off. I wanted to take her photo to share, but it seemed to weird to ask her and I wouldnt do it without permission. But I wanted to share this here: it was so evident that she was feeding her baby with love - as was the mom at the airport, gazing at her baby in their own little world while the airport buzzed around her. Whether there was formula in those bottles or their own expressed milk or donor milk, their babies were being fed, and fed lovingly. Supporting breastfeeding is my passion, but that does not preclude supporting all women. We all do our best for our own families, and we all love our babies.
