In the city of SeaTac there are many individuals young and old who go without food, basic necessities and shelter. Families who have gotten off track and been forgotten. As a witness to their struggles, McMicken Heights Baptist Church would like to begin a faith based ministry to feed and clothe the less fortunate in SeaTac. Powered by the love of Christ we are determined to show these individuals they are worth much more. As a community we must look past our front door step. Recognize the tremendous need for others besides ourselves. Share the blessings we gratefully have. Give love to our neighbors in hopes another would do the same for us. We are called to help our others as Christ does us. “Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:35-40) We cannot do this without the help from our community and surrounding areas. We are asking for a food or cash donation designated for the feeding program. With your donation you will be helping support these individuals in need and bring change to the community. Your donation will also help as a personal or business tax deduction. You can either keep your receipt for food purchased which we will also record, or we will provide a receipt for money given to support this program.
